Unplay
The minor unions that have been observed have no thorough explanation thus far. Pairings, tho brief, are not formed for mutual benefit of any sort. The other guess, though highly improbable and unreasonable for this stage of development, was for the purposes of play.
After the multitude of centuries observing the children, it is generally accepted that any sort of social development is painstakingly slow. For anything even remotely related to play, estimates are it would take at least another 400 years at current pace for such cerebal capacity to develop.
Unless, something has affected the overall equilibrium, no surprises especially leaps are expected in behavioral development.
